Patrick Daugherty

Patrick Daugherty is the senior corporate securities law partner of Foley & Lardner LLP and leads the blockchain technology practice of that law firm. With nearly 40 years of experience in global markets and at SEC headquarters, Patrick represents issuers, broker-dealers, exchanges, investment advisors and family offices in SEC and FINRA matters.

Patrick holds degrees from Northwestern and Cornell; belongs to the New York and Illinois bars, among others; was named “Michigan Lawyer of the Year” in 2007; and helps plan the annual Ray Garrett Corporate and Securities Law Institute at Northwestern. An emeritus member of the American Law Institute, Patrick has been named one of the “Best Lawyers in America” in five different fields, in three different states, and is rated “Preeminent” by Martindale-Hubbell.
