Sharon Kucia is a strategic thinker and leader in the field of Strategic Planning and Development, with over two decades of leadership experience at Strategic Consulting firms. She has also served as the non-profit practice leader in her last two companies, primarily serving the Catholic Church. Sharon began her career by working to build capacity through effective advancement programs as well as increase constituent engagement in the mission of organizations such as Boston University, Girl Scouts United States of America, and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, enabling her to bring additional experience in the non-profit sector to her client engagements. As President of Inveniam Consulting and Advisory Services, the parent of Inveniam Labs, Mrs. Kucia is responsible for all Institutional Client Service including: designing, organizing, project management, and overseeing all client work.
Ms. Kucia was directly involved with the success of numerous organizational strategic planning processes and capital campaigns in her years in the non-profit sector. These projects include a $30 million campaign at Bishop Gorman High School (Las Vegas, Nevada), and a $12 million campaign for Cleveland Central Catholic High School in Cleveland, Ohio which raised funds for endowment, as well as renovation and additions to an inner-city college campus. Ms. Kucia directed the $20 million major gifts phase of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis’ $85 million campaign in 2005 and the $32 million major gifts phase of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee’s $97 million campaign in 2007. She also worked extensively on special projects, campaigns and strategic planning initiatives with the Dioceses of Knoxville, Wilmington, Sioux Falls, Chicago, Las Vegas, Sacramento, Kansas City-St. Joseph, Green Bay, Saginaw and Cheyenne. She served on the Professional Advisory Team to assist the Archdiocese
of St. Louis with a Mission Advancement Initiative for Catholic Education. In her leadership role, she oversaw the capital fundraising of over $1 billion for the Catholic Church by her staff.
Ms. Kucia’s distinguished 24-year career represents a wealth of knowledge and experience from previous positions with prestigious organizations. Ms. Kucia earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Boston College and has attended Indiana University’s Center of Philanthropy, and The Fund-Raising School. Additionally, Sharon is a founding member and President of the Charlotte Chapter of Legatus, an organization for Catholic business executives. Sharon has spent most of her distinguished career at the intersection of business and faith, using her development and management skills to support the Catholic Church.
