Patrick O’Meara is the Chairman and CEO of Inveniam Capital Partners. In addition to directing the firm’s overarching mission and strategy, Mr. O’Meara plays a central role in the development and delivery of the firm’s proprietary technology platform and business development functions.

Throughout his 20+ year career, Mr. O’Meara has been directly responsible for over $2 billion in new debt financings and $1 billion in equity financings. He has also restructured over $1 billion of debt and advised on over $800 million in M&A transactions. Mr. O’Meara began his finance career at Raymond James and Bear Stearns & Co before creating his own financial advisory firm from his dining room table and building it into a leader within its niche for more than 14 years, employing over 80 finance professionals. Mr. O’Meara has gained recognition for his innovative approach to financing and capital planning for the Catholic institutional market. He advised on the largest, longest term and lowest cost borrowings for a Catholic diocese. This includes the Diocese of Austin on its ground-breaking sale of $79.8 million in tax-exempt revenue bonds, marking the first time that ratings agencies and banks regarded donations as a reliable recurring source of revenue and changing the nature of the non-profit lending space for faith-based organizations. The deal was nominated for Deal of the Year in 2005 by Bond Buyer Magazine. Mr. O’Meara also advised on a $150 million financing for the Archdiocese of Chicago which achieved a higher rating than the state of Illinois and the city of Chicago, as well as a $110 million financing for the Diocese of Oakland, California – each unique and groundbreaking at their time.
