As a Senior Consultant for Inveniam Securities, Ken Giffin concentrates his efforts in upholding Inveniam’s commitment to assisting Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SME) to access the capital resources they need. His primary focus is the origination of transactions in the Midwest.
Mr. Giffin’s career is a combination of utility management and public service. In 2013, he ended his 30-year career at the privately-owned Indianapolis Water Company, where he served as President of Waterway Holdings for the IWC real estate subsidiary. Mr. Giffin spent 24 years as an elected city councilman in Indianapolis and another 15 years in appointed governmental roles in Indiana and at the federal level. He held two appointments to federal commissions from President George H. W. Bush and has been a delegate to three Republican National conventions, twice a Presidential Elector. Early in his career, Mr. Giffin worked on Capitol Hill as an aide to a senior Congressman.
Mr. Giffin’s family has deep roots in the Indiana banking community. He served 12 years as a Director of Fifth Third Bank, was National Treasurer of the American Legion Endowment Corporation and was a trustee of Marian University.
He is a graduate of Indiana University School of Business and a veteran of the Vietnam-era military, in the Army Reserve.
