Ben Craig is an experienced capital markets executive, having worked in senior strategy and business development roles at US equity and derivative exchanges, as well as advising companies in the fintech and capital markets sectors.
Mr. Craig has served as the President of the Nasdaq OMX Futures Exchange (NFX) as well on four Nasdaq OMX portfolio company boards, including the International Derivatives Clearing Group, Agora-X, INET and NFX. Prior to his time at Nasdaq OMX, he was the First Vice President, Corporate Development, for the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, where he led the corporate development, business analytics and marketing communications functions at the exchange. Mr. Craig has also served in senior leadership roles for other early stage trading platforms, spanning retail focused derivatives, US small cap equities and the commodities sectors. In addition to his experience at exchanges, he also led GIC, a Philadelphia-based international think tank chartered at the University of Pennsylvania, which focused on the global capital markets and monetary policy issues.
Mr. Craig earned an MGA from the University of Pennsylvania, an MA in American history from Tulane University and holds an undergraduate degree from Birmingham-Southern College.
